Do you guarantee streams?
No. We provide discovery tools and carry out agreed promotional actions. We do not guarantee streams, views, followers, playlist placements, or commercial results.
What content do I need?
Prepare a music link, artist biography, artist photo, release artwork, and promotional videos or visuals you have permission to use. Artists supply campaign content unless separate content creation is purchased. We will confirm the required formats before launch.
Which social platforms do you use?
Campaigns may run on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, or YouTube. The platform mix depends on your release, audience, and agreed campaign plan; every boost does not necessarily run on every platform.
Can I buy additional promotion?
Yes. Additional paid campaigns are available separately. Contact the team to agree on the scope, cost, advertising budget, and any content creation before work begins.
Do I keep ownership of my music?
Yes. You keep ownership of your music. Only submit material you have the rights to use. Submitting content gives Mix Africa permission to review, host, display, stream, and promote accepted content under our Terms of Service.
Can artists outside Africa apply?
Yes. African artists in the diaspora and artists outside Africa can submit music for review. Mix Africa focuses on emerging African talent, with Mix International providing a discovery space for music from outside Africa. Contact us to discuss the right fit.
